Looking for a fun and engaging way to bring your team together? Our Battle of the Bands event is designed for just that!
In just 2 hours, teams will create, collaborate, and connect as they learn and perform a hit song. No prior musical experience required! This high-energy, interactive challenge encourages communication, creativity, and teamwork while providing an unforgettable experience. Whether for colleagues, friends, or family, this event is the perfect way to strengthen bonds and have a blast together. Join us and let the music bring your team closer!

Our music team building events give Boston teams a shared creative win: real instruments, real coaching, and a finale your group will talk about for months. What a session looks like
Your group arrives to a fully set stage: guitars, keys, drums, mics, and a coach for every band. After a high-energy warm-up, teams of 3 to 6 form bands, pick a hit song, and learn it section by section with a dedicated instructor, the same fitness-class model our 175+ monthly group classes run on. Two hours later, every band can play their song. No musical experience required, ever.

We split larger groups into multiple bands across our 3,000 square foot studio, each with its own coach and rehearsal space. Want to raise the stakes? Add the performance finale: bands play for each other at the end, modeled on our BAND+ program, the staff-guided experience that puts member bands on real Boston stages.

Battle of the Bands is designed for people who have never played or sang in their life. We truly cherish the opportunity to work with complete beginners. Like you might go to paint night and not be Picasso, you can come to battle the bands and not be Beethoven. We just expect people to come in ready to have fun, have some drinks and some food, and play some music together.

Team Building FAQs
No musical experience is required! Our Battle of the Bands program is designed for complete beginners. Our instructors guide teams through learning basic instruments and performing together.
We can accommodate groups from 10 to 100+ participants. Teams are 3 to 6 people who form a "band" together, and we run as many bands in parallel as your group needs. Contact us for custom arrangements for larger groups.
Sessions run about two hours, from warm-up through learning the song to performing it as a band. That covers instruction, rehearsal and the Battle of the Bands finale. We can customize the duration based on your schedule and goals.
Teams typically include guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals. We provide all instruments and equipment. Participants can choose their instrument or be assigned based on preference.
While our Downtown Boston studio provides the best experience with professional equipment and acoustics, we can discuss off-site options for larger corporate events.
