Adult Singing Classes in Small Groups
Singing classes for adults work like a fitness class here: book the session, walk in, and sing for an hour with 3 to 6 other adults and a vocal coach. Beginners start in Voice Hits I with no experience needed. At 33 West Street in Downtown Crossing, steps from every T line.
$100, and the $100 applies toward a membership or a lesson pack if you continue.

How group singing classes work.
There is no semester and no audition. There are 200+ group classes a month across the studio, so a voice class is usually running within a day or two of whenever you are free. You pick one, book it, and show up the way you would for a spin class.
The room holds 3 to 6 adults. Small enough that the coach hears your voice on its own, big enough that you are never singing by yourself. Every coach teaches voice as their own instrument, and everyone in the room is an adult, most of them starting where you are.
The singing classes, beginner to live band
Beginner
Voice Hits I
Popular songs while you build breath support and control, pitch accuracy and performance confidence. No prior singing experience required.
Intermediate
Voice Hits II
More challenging repertoire, a wider range, better tone and resonance, and your own interpretation of a song.
All levels
Voice Lab
Bring a song in any genre and work it with feedback from the coach and the room.
Harmony
MPCappella II
The adult a cappella ensemble: vocal harmony, blend and ensemble singing on popular arrangements, voices only.
Musical theater
Broadway Hits II
Show tunes, with vocal technique, character and telling a story through a song.
Live band
Band - Voice I/II
Singing out front with drums, bass, guitar and keys behind you: working with a rhythm section, stage monitors and owning the room.
The adult group class schedule shows which of these are running this week.
Classes or private lessons?
A class is for singing with people: harmony, nerve, and a reason to come back every week. A private lesson is an hour on your voice alone, on the songs you choose. Plenty of members do both. If one to one is what you are after, see our private singing lessons in Boston.
What singing classes cost
The $100 Intro Week comes first: a one hour private lesson, seven days of unlimited group classes, and open practice time, so you can sing in a week of classes before deciding anything. Memberships run $170 to $480 a month. The entry tier includes up to 4 group classes a month and most others up to 8. See the membership options.
