How Does The Volunteer Program Work?
The Volunteer program allows members to contribute their time to the community in exchange for membership services.
Depending on how much time you'd like to commit each week, we offer the following options:
1 x 3-hour shift per week: 4 group class credits per month or 2 x 1-hour private lessons per month
Steps To Become A Volunteer
Before joining as a volunteer, we ask that you first experience Musicians Playground as a member so you know our community from the inside. Here's how to get started:
Start with our Intro Week to get a hands-on introduction to Musicians Playground, meet the community, and try out our classes and lessons.
Continue with at least one full month of membership so you can fully experience everything Musicians Playground has to offer as a member first.
Once you have completed your Intro Week and a month of membership, you are ready to apply to join our volunteer team using the steps below.

About Musicians Playground
Musicians Playground is conveniently located in downtown Boston in a beautiful 3,000-square-foot studio outfitted with top-of-the-line instruments, amenities, and technology. We offer exciting opportunities for learning and making music in both private and group settings for adults and kids, music-based team-building events & parties, and creative space rentals. We are 100% for music hobbyists and believe music is meant to be fun, social, and personally transformative. Everything we do, we do in the spirit of this coming true for those we serve.
Our team is a group of passionate teachers & musicians who are committed to the mission of MP & the work they do as educators in changing people's lives through music.
