Get Started
Absolutely! We welcome students of all skill levels, and many of our current students started their musical journey with us. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping beginners build a strong foundation while making learning fun and engaging.
Getting started is easy! Begin with our Intro Week, where you can try different class formats and meet our instructors. This gives you a chance to experience Musicians Playground first hand. Contact us to schedule your Intro Week today.
After your Intro Week, we'll help you choose the best learning path based on your experience, goals, and schedule. You can join our regular group classes, schedule private lessons, or combine both for optimal learning. We'll create a personalized plan that works for you.
Group Classes
Group classes are designed for learners of all levels, offering the perfect balance of guidance and freedom to explore. In each class, you'll learn new techniques and songs while enjoying the experience of playing with others to accelerate your progress. Our guitar and piano classes use a silent system, allowing students to learn at their own pace without distractions.
Our group classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 8 students per class, ensuring personalized attention while still enjoying the benefits of social learning and playing.
We offer over 100 group music classes a month across piano, voice and guitar to support our adult student learning
You can either use our schedule on our website to book your group classes or the MINDBODY App
As a beginner, you can take any classes marked as 'All Levels' or 'Beginner.' These include Band, Fundamentals, and Lab, designed to help you build a solid foundation while having fun!
As an intermediate player, you can take any classes marked as 'All Levels' or 'Intermediate.' These include Band, Hits, and Labs, designed to help you refine your skills while having fun
To ensure the best learning experience, it's not allowed to take both beginner (fundamentals) & intermediate (hits) classes. If you're unsure which level class to take, feel free to ask your private lesson instructor or our administrative team—they'll be happy to guide you in the right direction
To join our intermediate level classes, you'll be encouraged to complete a brief evaluation with an instructor during a 1:1 lesson in your chosen instrument, or you can get guidance from our administrative team to help you decide when you're ready
Members can purchase additional group classes at 50% off ($35 per class) through the Mindbody store. If you need any assistance with your purchase, feel free to reach out to our team—we're here to help!

Yes! We regularly organize bi-monthly adult happy hour performances. These events provide valuable performance experience in a supportive environment. All participation is voluntary but highly encouraged.
Our vibrant music community connects through group classes, happy hour performances, our member's only discord channel, collaborative projects and ensemble opportunities, and special workshops and masterclasses.
