What Is Musicians Playground's Band+?
Band+ is a 12-week, performance-based program for intermediate and advanced musicians who want to collaborate, rehearse, and perform in a real band. You’ll be matched with other players by level, style, and goals, rehearse with your band each week, and get expert coaching from one of our instructors, then finish with a live show in Boston.

What Will I Experience In Band+?
- Small bands (3–5 members) matched by level and taste
- Learn and perfect 3–5 songs in your chosen genre(s)
- Weekly coached rehearsals + self‑directed practice inside the hour
- Final showcase at a partner venue in Boston
How It Works
Submit your Band+ application to highlight your experience and musicial interests, including any playing or performance videos.
The Musicians Playground team will form bands based on schedule, level and taste based on everyone that applies.
Meet for weekly rehearsals for a mix of guided instruction and self-guided rehersal time.
Take the stage and perform your band’s set at a live show in Boston.
